Biography

John Burton Stewart enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 33 on the 2nd of August 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was Single, and was employed as a Bullock Driver. He volunteered and was stationed with the 23rd Battalion, 6th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 2800 . He Died of Disease on the 17th of April 1919 and was buried at the Tidworth Military Cemetery (Row C, Grave number 376). Tree number 1007.
