Martin Kennedy Gullan enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 36 on the 11th of November 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 7th Battalion,15th Reinforcements and later transferring to the 2nd ANZAC Corps with the Regimental number 4789 . He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 22nd of April 1918 . Tree number 1010.
