Leslie Gordon Phillips enlisted in Perth, Western Australia at the age of 28 on the 15th of September 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Tramway Employee. He volunteered and was stationed with the 11th Battalion, 12th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 3923. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 3rd of March 1919. Tree number 1074.
