Biography

Arthur Edmond Eyckens was born in Beaufort. He enlisted in Ballarat on 1st July 1915. He was 18 years old, single, and a labourer.He was posted to the 31st Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 664. He was killed in action at Polygon Wood on the 29th July 1917. His name is recorded on Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
