Biography

Robert Young was a single 18 year old grocer at the time of his enlistment on the 12th of July 1915 as a private with the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A7 Medic on the 20th of May 1916.He returned to Australia on the 28th of June 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 14th of August 1919.
