Ernest Edward Dix was born in Kettering, England was married and was employed as a Electrician. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 23. He volunteered and was stationed with the 23rd Battalion, 5th Reinforcement later transferring to the 14th Light Horse Regiment with the Regimental number 2355. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 29th of April 1919. Tree number 1101.
