Biography

Thomas Harold Sim was a Ballarat Dairyman when he enlisted in the 4th Light Horse Regiment on 18 August 1914 at the age of 24. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A25 Anglo Egyptian on 19 October 1914. He returned to Australia 3 February 1915, discharged as medically unfit due to a significant ear infection (Acute Suppurating Catarrh of the Middle Ear).
