James Dorrington was born in Scarsdale, Victoria was single and was employed as a Labourer. She enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 23. He volunteered and was stationed with the 14th Battalion, 13th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 4173. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 12th of May 1918. Tree number 1155.
