Biography

Joshua George Greening (SN 683) was born in Ballarat where he enlisted on 14th July 1915. He was 24 years old, unmarried, and a painter and decorator. He was posted to the 31st Infantry Battalion and sailed from Melbourne in November. On July 20th 1916 he was killed in action near Fleurbaix, and buried in the Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, France.
