Biography

William Elphick Moon was born in Ballarat and enlisted there on 28th November 1915. He was 21 years old, single and an analytical chemist. He joined the 8th Australian Field Artillery Brigade, with Regimental No. 22423. He was killed in action on 25th June 1917 at Neuve .Eglise and is buried at Pont d'Achelles Mil Cemetery, France.
