Biography

Robert James Todd was born in lnvermay and enlisted there on 19th August 1914. He was 25 years old, single and employed as a carpenter. He joined the 8th Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 72. During his service he was promoted Lance Corporal. On 25th April 1915 he was killed during the Landing at Anzac Cove, and is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
