Charles Wesley Frost was born in Bendigo and was a school teacher by trade. He had become a widower and at the age of 31 enlisted at Broadmeadows in Melbourne. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A24 Benalla on 19 October 1914.He was promoted to Sergeant on the 28/4/15 and spent time in hospital from 28/7/15 for an eye injury (GSW) to the face and rejoined his unit on 23/11/15. He was discharged due to Rheaumatoid Arthritis and Returned to Australia 11 April 1916 .Tree No. 126
