Biography

Isaac McDonald was a farm labourer from Lake Marmal when he enlisted on 14th May 1916. He was 22 years old, single, and had been born at Boort. He was went to the 39th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2120. He was promoted Corporal. He was killed in action on 30th July 1918 at Vaux Wood, and is buried in the Villers¡Bretonneux Cemetery, France.
