Clarence Albert Blomeley was born at Ballarat and later became a Clerk and at the age of 20 whilst single enlisted on 19 August 1914 at Ballarat. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on 19 October 1914. Admitted to hospital on the 27/8/15 (Dysentry) and rejoined unit on or about 23/1/16. He was appointed Lance Corporal (2nd Field Ambulance) on 18/5/17.
