Biography

John Thomas Stevens or Jock as he was known enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 31 on the 1st of November 1916. He had been born in Sebastopol, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Railway Employee. He volunteered and was stationed with the 38th Battalion, 16th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 2882. He died of his wounds 3rd December 1917 . He is buried in the Tres-Arbres Cemetery (Plot II, Row B, Grave number 33).Tree number 1391.
