Leslie Frank Stringer enlisted in Beaufort, Victoria at the age of 18 on the 25th of January 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion, 5th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 2036. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 17th of March 1919. Tree number 1393.
