Biography

Andrew Anderson Louden (SN 2131) was born in Ballarat and attended the Dana Street State School. He enlisted on July 17th 1915. He was 20 years old, single and a picture framer. He was posted to the 8th Light Horse Regiment and embarked from Melbourne on board the Barunga in April 1916. Later he was transferred to 1st Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps. He was killed in action against the Turks on July 10th 1918, and was buried at Musselabeh. Later all Middle East Force bodies were removed to the Jerusalem War Cemetery, Israel
