Eric Samuel Edwards enlisted in an unknown port on the 16th of Febraury 1913. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria. He volunteered and was posted to numerous different ships as a Leading Seaman including HMAS Melbourne with the Regimental number 2568. He was discharged and Returned to Australia in 7th of May 1923. Tree number 1430.
