Biography

Born in Ballarat, Robert Roy Jamieson was a single 20 year old warehouseman at the time of his enlistment on the 8th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 10th of November 1915.
On October 16th 1915, Robert was promoted Lance Corporal. On the 8th of March 1917, he was promoted Corporal.
Robert returned to Australia on the 19th of July 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 23rd of September 1919.
