Biography

Alexander Walter Grant, was a single 19 year old butcher from Ballarat at the time of his enlistment on the 9th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 10th of November 1915.
He returned to Australia on the 31st of May 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 25th of July 1919.
