Biography

Born in Ballarat, Samuel Arthur Lynch was a single 20 year old grocer at the time of his enlistment as a Driver on the 23rd of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 10th of November 1915.
He was appointed Lance Corporal on the 3rd of October 1918.
Samuel returned to Australia on the 19th of July 1919 and was discharged on the 10th of November 1919.
