Aitken Millar Wilson (SN 713) was born in Stirling Scotland, but was a 40 year old commercial traveller when he enlisted in Melbourne on February 19th 1915. He joined the 22nd Infantry Battalion and embarked from Melbourne in mid-May on board the Ulysses, bound for Gallipoli. He served through the Gallipoli campaign from August, then after a period back in Egypt, his unit moved to France in March 1916. He was killed in action on the August 5th 1916. He is buried in the Courcelette French Cemetery, France
