Biography

Joseph George Farrell Dakin enlisted in Oaklands, South Australia at the age of 28 on the 6th of January 1915. He had been born in Majorca, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Brickmaker. He volunteered and was stationed with the 9th Light Horse Regiment, 6th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 1030. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 2nd of January 1919. Tree number 1563.
