Solomon Barnet Bentwitch was born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single and was employed as a Labourer. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 31. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion, 5th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 1914. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 24th of January 1919. Tree number 1567.
