Frederick Rowe enlisted in Dandenong, Victoria at the age of 22 on the 18th of January 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Railway Clerk. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion, 4th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 1873. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 31st of August 1916. Tree No. 1568.
