Biography

Stanley Mossop was a single 24 year old letter carrier at the time of his enlistment on the 6th of March 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A35 Berrima on the 28th of June 1915.
On the 16th of June 1917, Stanley was promoted to Extra Regimental Sergeant. He reverted back to Private on the 24th of September 1917.
On the 26th of March 1918, Stanley was taken on strength as a Sapper with the Australian Corps Signal Company.
He returned to Australia on the 8th of June 1919, and was discharged on the 31st of August 1919.
