Born in Ballarat, Harold King was a single 22 year old driver at the time of his enlistment on the 19th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on the 2nd of October 1916. He was appointed driver on the 19th of March 1918.
Harold returned to Australia on the 27th of February 1919 and was discharged on the 6th of April 1919.
