Born in Scarsdale, Victoria, Bert Law was a single 26 year old labourer at the time of his enlistment on the 4th of August 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 18th of November 1915.
Bert returned to Australia on the 31st of May 1919 and was discharged on the 25th of July 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
