Biography

Born in Horsham, Victoria, Edgar John Kimberley was a single 25 year old law clerk at the time of his enlistment in Melbourne, Victoria on the 25th of September 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A39 Port Macquarie on the 16th of November.
On the 9th of April 1917, Edgar was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
He returned to Australia on the 22nd of May 1919 and was discharged on the 15th of July 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
