Aubrey Morgan (SN 185) born at Maldon, was a 27 year old carpenter when he enlisted in Cairns Qld on February 10th 1915. He embarked aboard the Aeneas on June 29th and sailed to Egypt. In April 1916 he was transferred from the 25th Infantry Battalion to the Anzac Provost Corps then deployed to France in June. He completed his service without significant harm and returned to Australia aboard the Leicestershire, disembarked at Melbourne on June 21st 1919 and was discharged on August 28th 1920.
