Biography

Born in Ballarat, Lionel Lambert was a single 33 year old mining engineer at the time of his enlistment on the 20th of November 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A69 Warilda on the 25th of May 1916.
On the 1st of May 1916, Lionel was promoted from First Lieutenant to Lieutenant.
He returned to Australia on the 8th of October 1919 and was discharged on the 30th of November 1919.
