Biography

Henry D'Arcy Hoskin was a married 29 year old stoker when he enlisted in Ballarat on the 13th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on the 11th of October 1915.
On the 4th of September 1916 Henry was promoted to Corporal.
He returned to Australia on the 3rd of January 1918 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 8th of December 1918 due to trench fever.
