Biography

Arthur Edward Fields was born in Sydney, New South Wales was single and was employed as a Bicycle Mechanic. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 19. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Battalion, 14th Reinforcement later transferring to the 58th Battalion with the Regimental number 4486. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 8th of April 1917. Tree number 1711.
