Biography

Norman William Nice (SN 12361) was born in Ballarat and was a printer by trade when he enlisted, at the age of 23, in the 10th Field Ambulance in July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne on board the Runic on June 20th 1916. In January 1917 he was posted to France and in July he transferred from the 10th Field Ambulance to the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station.
