Biography

Born in Euroa, Victoria, William McGrath was a married 29 year old labourer at the time of his enlistment in Melbourne, Victoria on the 22nd of July 1915. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A54 Runic on the 20th of January 1916.
William returned to Australia on the 31st of May 1919, and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 25th of July 1919.
