Biography

Norman Selmon enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 24 on the 23rd of July 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Carpenter. He volunteered and was stationed with the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station with the Regimental number 14068. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 11th of May 1919. He is buried in the Ballarat Cemetery.

Lucas’s Staffs Appreciation of Brave Men, the original Avenue register, records his name as Norman Selman.
