Biography
Melville Charles James was a married 38 year old clergyman when he enlisted on the 16th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A55 Kyarra on the 21st of August 1915.
Melville returned to Australia on the 20th of October 1915 and his appointment was terminated on the 22nd of November 1915.
