Biography

Raymond Nankervis was born in Tatura, but enlisted from Ballarat on 24th July 1915. He was a tram conductor, 25 years old and single. He was posted to the 21st Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2028. He was killed in action at Gueudecourt on 12th November 1916, and is buried in AIF Burial Ground, Flers, France.
