Arthur Magill was a single 22 year old bank clerk at the time of his enlistment on the 26th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 18th of November 1915.
Arthur returned to Australia on the 22nd of May 1918, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 14th of September 1918 due to problems with his heart.
