Biography

At only 19 years old, Thomas Stephen Nicholls, a single waiter at the time, enlisted in the A.I.F on the 16th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board H.M.A.T. A32 Themistocles on the 28th of January 1916.
He returned to Australia on the 29th of August 1919 and was discharged on the 21st of October 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
