William John Dennis was born in Creswick, Victoria was single and was employed as a Blacksmith. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 20. He volunteered and was stationed with the 21st Battalion, 7th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 3087. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 15th of May 1919. Tree number 1833.
