Biography

Walter Harold Fitridge was born in Creswick, Victoria was single and was employed as a Labourer. He enlisted in Geelong, Victoria at the age of 29. He volunteered and was stationed with the 29th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement later transferring to the 12th Field Artillery Brigade with the Regimental number 2024. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 3rd of September 1919. Tree number 1847.
