Biography

Denholm Brown Stevenson was born in Ballarat East and enlisted there on 28th January 1916. He was a labourer, 19 years old and single. He joined the 8th Infantry Battalion with Re Regimental No. 4595. Later he was transferred to the 58th Infantry Battalion. On 19th July 1916 he was killed in action at Fromelles. His name is recorded in VC Corner Australian Cemetery & Memorial, Fromelles, France.
