Leslie James White was born in Sebastopol, Victoria, was married and was employed as a Horse Breaker. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 24. He volunteered and was stationed with the 22nd Battalion with the Regimental number 2324. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 15th of August 1915. Tree number 1884.
