Cyril Linton Medley (SN 5154/4580) was born at Mystic Park near Swan Hill and enlisted on August 15th 1915. He was 20 years old, unmarried and a labourer. He joined the 21st Infantry Battalion and sailed from Australia in March 1916. Later he was transferred to the 14th Infantry Battalion. On May 19th 1918 he was killed in action at Ville-sur-Ancre, and is buried in Dive Copse British Cemetery, Belgium. He was 23 years of age.
