Norman Leslie Daniel enlisted from Collingwood on 21st December 1915. He was posted to the 60th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2033. He was 20 years old, single and a railway porter. He had been born at Ballarat. He died of wounds received at Peronne on 30th August 1918. He was being treated in the 33rd Casualty Clearing Station when he died on 1st September 1918. He is buried in the Daours Communal Cemetery, France.
