Biography

Sydney Francis Bradley (SN 2891) born in Sydney, was a 19 year old labourer when he enlisted in New South Wales on December 22nd 1915. He embarked on March 14th 1916 and sailed via England to France where he served with the 31st Infantry Battalion. While he avoided battle wounds and serious illness, his service was punctuated by several charges of being absent without leave. He returned to Australia on the Orca, disembarked on April 9th 1919 and was discharged on July 18th.
