Biography

Angus Marston (SN 4171) was born in Ballarat and enlisted there on January 10th 1916. The 23 year old, married, hairdresser was assigned to the 21st Infantry Battalion and left for the Western Front in March on board the Wiltshire. He arrived in France in early August but was killed in action near Mouquet Farm, just a couple of weeks later. on August 24th 1916. With no known grave, his name is recorded on the Australian Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, France.
