Biography

William Harold Johnson enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 18 on the 20th of January 1916. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Battalion, 16th Reinforcement later transferring to the 58th Battalion with the Regimental number 5128. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 4th of May 1917. Tree number 2011.
