Albert John White was born in Ballarat, Victoria, was married and was employed as a Labourer. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 20. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion later transferring to the 38th Battalion with the Regimental number 6136. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 20th of May 1919.
